Remo Rittiner, received the certificate of AYUR·YOGA Teacher and Therapist in 1996 after intensive studies of yoga and yoga practice with A. Mohan in India. Since 1997 he has directed the AYUR·YOGA School in Zurich where he also teaches yoga to members of various companies. In 1999, Remo opened the "AYUR·YOGA Center for Holistic Health" at Bleicherweg 45 in Zurich.
Since 2000 he has been offering part-time AYUR·YOGA teacher training. In 2004 he gave the first yoga therapist training in Switzerland and has continued to do so since. In the same year he was appointed adviser to Switzerland by the International Yoga Therapy Association (IAYT).
Remo Rittiner has been practicing yoga according to the tradition of Krishnamacharya for ten years and he has further trained himself with the renowned yoga teachers Sriram, Gary Kraftsow, and Mukunda Stiles. Remo has expanded his yoga teaching competency through intensive studies in anatomy and meditation. He completed the Ayurveda Course with Dr. Frawley and the Muscle Therapy by Dr. Harald Daub and he integrates Ayurveda in the Yoga instruction for his students. Remo Ritter is recognized by many health insurance companies as a yoga therapist and is considered to be one of the leading Yoga teachers in Switzerland.
