Doing the physical exercises children realize their capability, preferences, limits and strength. In simple and gentle yoga postures they relax the tension of their body and improve their concentration. Children experience the unity of body, breath, and mind through silence and breathing exercises. In yoga they enjoy rest and peace on the one hand and vitality and joy on the other.

Further positive aspects of yoga for children

Playing and rollicking let children relax and experience the joy of moving.

Relaxation is an important means to rest also for adults and children alike. Yoga releases whatever worries or tights children physically, emotionally, or mentally.

In physical exercises they experience, strengthen, and stretch their body and feel their articulation - all of which improve children’s physical health.

Breathing is life! Deep inhaling and exhaling help to become aware of the breath and improve the oxygen absorption. In courses, breathing exercises are integrated playfully to deepen the child’s breath automatically. Children learn to integrate breathing in their daily life.

Relaxation improves concentration. Children learn to pay attention and focus.

Through mental training and dream journeys children understand the power of thought. In positive affirmations they develop self assurance, ability, and perseverance.
